What makes The Waterfall House of Woodstock, New York, such a memorable vacation experience for our guests? We don't need to wonder — they tell us, in their own hand, in our leatherbound Guestbook that lives in the house. (Continued...)

Sept. 27, 2009 –

We enjoyed a wonderful few days here at your beautiful Waterfall House. The waterfall alone is peaceful and inspiring and so is the entire house with comfortable beds, great music, views, and every need for living taken care of. Having the breakfast supplies really made a nice comforting feeling.

It must be beautiful in all seasons.

We grew up in Woodstock in the 60's and got to reconnect with all the towns and experiences around. We had a wonderful, rejuvenating visit.

Your home is full of peace and love and we shared it – thank you.

What a wonderful long weekend we enjoyed at your Waterfall House. We felt like pampered guests with all that you provided – the bread and eggs were particularly delicious.

Your home offered us a peaceful oasis – a retreat from three busy lifestyles — and a chance to reconnect with one another and nature.

Sincere thanks,
M., B. & R.

Thank you
L. & S.

Dear Bob & Barbara,

What a fabulous respite & a paradise for photographers!

We loved all your amazing "creations" decorating the house – whimsical, charming, lovely!! And a well-stocked refrigerator and kitchen, complete with bagels and Merlot! We could not have asked for more!

Many, many thanks for your thoughtfulness & and sharing this very special place with us!

Dear Bob & Barb,

Energized and inspired by the timeless, endless stream and tickled and delighted by this artfully created living space, we are bound to return.

Here's a short list of things I love about this house:

A window for every view
Chickens galore
Spacious bathrooms
Eggs so delicately colored they should be photographed – then eaten.
The spring garden
Beautiful stone inside and out
The house whispering, "Enjoy, enjoy!"
A gas fireplace that winked at me
The nearby mysterious (and closed) road papered "No Trespassing" – oops. What if I see a bear?
A collection of objects that amount to a "personality"
On and on…

We came to hunt for a house for ourselves and we leave knowing it must be waterside.

We feel grateful and fortunate for the time we have spent in the cheerful and "wonder-full" dream house you have created.

With love,
C and D.

We have enjoyed every minute of our 4-day adventure. the kids and the dogs LOVED the natural playground-waterpark out back!

Your home is comfy and cozy, and it feels like home.

Food in town was as good as NYC: Bear Café, the Red Onion, the vegan place in Woodstock, Main Street Café in Saugerties. 4 STARS!

Hope to see you again,
H., D., L., D., D., and B. M.

Wonderful energy. Thank you. We came prepared to reconnect with each other — and we also connected to the earth and power of the falls. A memorable experience — so good of you to share with others.

We hope we have the delightful opportunity to read your story about a Waterfall House visit some day.
